Job Description
- Forecast market demand and develop procurement strategies for the industrial metal materials business, including cold-rolled steel, aluminum raw materials (ingots, billets), steel billets, coated steel, shaped aluminum, etc.
- Establish domestic and international purchasing procedures; shipping and receiving procedures; and import-export procedures.
- Develop and implement the department’s work plan, delegate tasks, train staff, manage and supervise work, and evaluate employee performance.
- Manage, store records, conduct transaction activities, negotiate, and sign contracts with customers and suppliers.
- Manage procedures, import-export documents, such as purchase contracts, shipping documents, import-export documents, payment procedures, and goods delivery procedures.
- Have knowledge in the field of International Trade, understand contract terms to ensure the company’s rights and benefits.
- Create a reasonable procurement budget for each project.
- Check, control, reconcile import and export records with the actual quantity at the customs during the customs clearance process.
- Plan and implement the search, evaluation, selection of potential suppliers. Build and develop a system of suppliers both domestically and internationally, seek high-quality goods at the lowest possible cost.
- Control the purchasing process, import-export goods to ensure high efficiency.
- Directly manage and operate the purchasing activities to promptly meet the needs of the company’s operations.
- Train and guide the professional skills for employees in the supply department.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Director of Commercial Business/TCEO.

Professional skills:
- Graduated from university/postgraduate programs in Economics, Foreign Trade, Commerce – Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in English (required), Chinese (a plus).
- Good communication, time management, quick thinking, and flexibility.
- Honest, straightforward, humble, market-oriented, disciplined, and dedicated.
- Ability to handle high pressure at work.
- Experience working in an equivalent position for 6 years or more.
- Preference for candidates with experience in industrial metal trading (Steel/Aluminum).
